Wine, spirits, cocktails and beer aren’t an afterthought at One Fifth. They’re essential.
Wine director Matthew Pridgen has created a list featuring selections from around the world with an emphasis on Old World wines from France, Italy and Spain. Guests will also find wines from lesser known wine-producing regions around the Mediterranean including Morocco, Turkey, Israel and Lebanon.
The cocktail menu is full of ingredients inspired by the Mediterranean region and the drinking culture that exists there. Traditional regional spirits like Ouzo and Arak are present on the menu, as well as spices like cardamom and sumac. Spirits director Westin Galleymore strives to foster an atmosphere that celebrates the process of drinking throughout the meal, with cleansing flavors preparing guests for the dishes still to come.
